2nd Annual HBC S/SS Combo in Abilene, Texas on Saturday October 20
 

Announcing the 2nd annual HBC Stock/Super Stock Combo Race sponsored by Higginbotham's Building Centers and Benjamin Moore Paints. Scheduled for Saturday October 20, at Abilene Dragstrip in Abilene, Texas. NHRA and IHRA legal entries welcome. Membership not required. Minimum posted total purse of $7800, matching last year. Paying all the way down to the round of 16. Purse may go higher. Listed below is last year's payout to show the value of this race.

Detailed payout and schedule for this year's race will be released in the coming weeks.

Entry fee remains at $150. But, new for this year includes free admission for up to three crewmembers. Also, complimentary lunch served to racers from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Racers will be qualified and laddered for eliminations. Abilene Dragstrip is an 1/8 mile track at 1700' elevation. Indexes will be altitude adjusted. Rain date is Sunday October 21.

Congrats on another good showing in SA. Good to see you again. Looks like I have to work that weekend again. I'd rather race 1/4 im not a big fan of 1/8. Hope to see you down the road.
