Anyone with a Class A MH on Workhorse Chassis
I have a 2002 Class A Motorhome on a Workhorse P-32 Chassis. While on my way back from Rockingham last Sunday, the motorhome shut off as if someone turned the key off. Luckily I was able to coast off of the freeway and into a safe area.
It turned out to be the ignition switch which was fried due to being overloaded. After reading up on it, it is a common problem with this chassis, in which they sell a kit with a relay and wiring harness to take the load off the switch. Anyone with this type of motorhome may want to look into this to avoid headaches down the road. Here is a link to the kit information. http://www.oemys-performance.com/med...on%20relay.pdf. |

It would be good to have threads on Motor home problems and fixes, along with gen set fixes.
It's going to happen. My bad, Ken has Support Tech section. |

Sounds like the ignition switch could use an accessory relay.
