Who is on the bump in Super Stock
Totally unscientific. SS/GS, GT/K,SS/L,GT/S, GT/C, and SS/F are singles, there are two each of SS/AM, SS/FM, and SS/EM @ # 129 or lower. That would make 9 that would move up. That would put Charlie Wescott Sr # 120 @ .818 under on the bump and anyone lower. SS/F is only .035 under. I think it takes more than that plus class winner to get in. That would put Randy Warford as the bump. And of course class, teardown etc. One hit tomorrow and class on Friday. Weather looks good tomorrow. Will probably change this. There are 13 SS/AH qualified and 14 not qualified. Of the 13 qualified , 4 are in the 120 to 128 positions. Again too much time on my hands.

Re: Who is on the bump in Super Stock
Jeff,
Could you explain how class run-offs affect the qualifying...who's in if a top 20 qualifier gets beat by someone outside of 128? If it's a single run for class do you have to go .50 under (or some other number) to get in? Thanks for the insight! |
Re: Who is on the bump in Super Stock
All single cars in class get in.If you win class you are in.If you don't go 5 tenth under you don't get a trophy. If you are not fast enought to qualify and win calss you are in at the bottom of the field.I know from last year.Wasn;t fast enough but lucked into class win in E/SA
