Div 2 Pts races
 

So now that D2 points races are ONLY 2 days, the entry must CHEAPER now, less days for NHRA crews, 1 day less on track rental, 1 day less for Hotels for NHRA crews, it has to be cheaper.??????

Should be or the purse should increase but we all know that wont happen. Just another enhancement. I would have preferred the events to be Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday and Saturday that way I wouldn't have to burn a vacation day for each race. I still have to use a vacation day with this schedule. I do like that the races are spread out a little farther apart.

:):):) Hey Brian...your "logic" should readily prevail...If...logic was/is part of "the" formula...just a note still waiting for Rich Schaefer-NHRA Division 2 director reply e-mailed him 3 consecutive weeks for permanent class numbers (now with IHRA gone)...so we could go to Rockingham WCS race...OOPS...race was couple weeks ago...!!!...surely our menial entry missing...caused no worry !!! lol...the GOOD news for us...did same last week...'cept to NHRA Division 1 office...had answer/solution in 5 minutes...IMAGINE THAT !!!...not exactly warm & fuzzy from R-Schaefer...(actually not anything !)...just the absolute opposite from Division 1...moved away from NHRA-Division 1...11-plus years ago IHRA country here in Carolinas'...reason for need of numbers...OK...sure seems to me to be "start" of b-eau-ti-ful ROMANCE !!! LOL...in our 55 years of motorsports...have been witness to just a few sanctioning body employees...come & go...just sayin'...lol...:):):)-Drake p.s....the late-great Buster Couch...whom I was truly honored to have his friendship...a far different personality...than what is in place today...'eh !!!

Best to call and talk to someone at the div 2 office. They are usually pretty helpful; there.

:):):) Hey Mike...maybe so...ALL in place received same NHRA #'s192/193...that I have had for at least last 20 years in Top Alcohol Funny Car,Comp,Super/Stock/SuperGas...for sons' Stock Eliminator cars...in no more than 5 minutes...'nuff said...chances are pretty good...Division 2 won't be getting our $170 WCS entry much @ all in 2018.. I "get it"...we won't be missed'...course with 0 "grade" points..the $345 entry (national event deal doesn't come into play)...wishing you Mike...ALL the best...sincerely...the true BEAUTY of AMERICA...we have freedom of our viewpoints...I respect your posture...just DON'T concur...in this small "blip" on big screen of life !!! lol...a month...3 emails (confirm received) every week...to date...NOT EVEN a stop bothering us note...lol...just NOT acceptable for a ol' goat like me...!!! lol...been a business guy my whole life...ALL around the "business" of Drag Racing...didn't/don't ask anyone to kiss the ring...just a simple response to CUSTOMER...IMAGINE THAT...!!! :):):) Drake

I feel fortunate that here in D5 I get a reply to any email I send normally within minutes and I probably send too many. Sara and Travis are very prompt to answer my questions. I appreciate that.

I don't really know what would have been the problem, I've emailed Rich and Cody Savage about numerous things in the past, always have gotten quick responses.

I wish d-1 would go to 2 day races. Makes sense or at least race as long as you can
