Holley Factory Super Cars first 7 second run $10,000 bonus
 

Another great bit of information to come out of the PRI show last week was released at the NMCA banquet. Holley Performance Products announced that they will award $5,000 for the first 7 second run in the NMCA Holley EFI Factory Super Car class in 2018. Better yet, if the first 7 second run is recorded by a Holley EFI equipped car, they're doubling the bonus to $10,000. That's some serious money!

For some who don’t know about this NMCA class, it is identical to the NHRA Factory Stock Showdown class. This is great news, and its great to see manufactures like Holley supporting and helping grow new classes. Look for further details when Holley and NMCA make the official announcement.

Will the engine be tore down to verify legality?

The run will be verified just the same as any record run during a NMCA event.
