saving spot in Div 1
The rule is you can save one spot. i am going to Atco next week and have been told people are saving 5 and 6 spots. i along with other people will be moving cones and tape. the crew last year when we showed up told us to park anywhere even if there is cones or tape there. and its the same this year. because of the 1 spot rule

In D4, we are allowed one spot up until the first car goes down track for a TT or qual.

I hate going to Atco for that reason. Someone should buy a large roll of tape and just circle the whole pit area. Maybe that would make someone that works there finally fix that problem. I can see saving one spot not 5 and more. Barry

Re: saving spot in Div 1
Atco was open Saturday, open yesterday/Sunday and will be open tomorrow/Tuesday, all before official event parking starts at noon on Wednesday and you're complaining about parking  and where is this 1 spot rule printed? No one parks behind their trailer, they park on the side of it so that's 2 spots per racer.

Where? I've never seen it in print and if it is, it ain't enforced and Dave knows how I feel about parking.
Don't matter, I've got my six spots :p and I can tell you most all the spots on asphalt are already taken. If you show up Friday, expect to park back in the woods or out on the entrance road.:D |
Re: saving spot in Div 1
I saved only 1 spot for Bob & Penny Bender next to my trailer with clearly marked cones . And I put off the back to save room .The race on sat & Sunday was packed with racers . There was most likely anouce mentioned over the PA.That a didn't here .
