Thanks for racing with us at Sonoma
 

Just wanted to take a quick moment to thank all the Stock and Super Stock racers for racing with us at Sonoma the last two weeks.

It was my first chance as track manager to host the LODRS and National events. We will take everything we learned at this years events and try to make them even better next year.

Thanks again to Mark Dawson from Famoso Raceway and fellow racer Mark Yeager for getting the Live Feed done in time for the LODRS event.

Kyle, we didn't do the national event so can only comment on the divisional. We liked the shortened version of the event, less time away from home and jobs. The days were full, but it was fun. Despite the oil downs, your crew did a good job of getting through the advertised schedule. My only complaint would be that perhaps we got called to the lanes too early at times. There were two times that we were called up then had to wait for small tire, big tire, etc. to run. We were in the lanes 30-45 minutes just waiting. It was warm and sunny, no place to hide, so less time in the lanes would have been appreciated.

Is this post a FIRST or, have I missed Any Track thanking Stock/SStock for showing up to race at their facility and asking for imput on how to improve your next visit to race. That's how to run a race track as a business and, Great customer service. Well Done Sonoma

Absolute best experience we have had at an NHRA sanctioned event. The Divisional was a blast, the National was awesome. We were treated with respect and the entire crew seemed to be more upbeat as far as I'm concerned. Parking was smooth thanks to Miss Sally as usual. The schedule was just right!

Thank you Kyle for the new energy you have brought forth. Our only wish is that it would become contagious!!! Not sure how big your shoulders are but I don't think many of us would complain if you took over the whole shebang!!

I'll second Mark's input Kyle... Great job! and oh by the way Mark great driving and congrats on your runner up!

Kyle I don't know if you were aware but your Sonoma Raceway facilities team came to my rescue... Upon arrival Thursday morning the landing gear on my unit collapsed as I was coming off the trailer with my truck. Within minutes Lino's gang was there with a fork lift and concrete blocks propping me up. This Sunday they returned and jacked me back on to the truck! Outstanding support from an outstanding team!

We'll be back for sure...

Kyle will do well with this kind of attitude towards the racers. Other track managers should follow his example.

I was skeptical about the 2 day format with all of the activities planned. I didn't see it all getting done on Sat. When it didn't get completed on Sat. the staff found a way to get the missed time runs done on Sunday morning. That is good customer service. 2 thumbs up.
