September 1 Combo Race
 

We wanted to let everyone know about a Stock/SuperStock combo race coming up Saturday September 1 at Elk Creek Dragway,

They had one August 11 that had been rescheduled from a rainy weekend. We were one of only 3 class cars that showed up. Several disappointed fans told Gene they came especially to see the class cars run.

Elk Creek is run by a good bunch of folks. This is its 50 year anniversary. It is a very family friendly track in a beautiful setting.

Details:
- NHRA and IHRA cars welcome
-No scales, no fuel checks, no heads up runs, no buybacks
-Must run under index
-Entry $60 for car & driver, $10 for crew and spectators
-Purse is guaranteed

Hey Gene...X2 on all you said about Elk Creek...we ran their Stock/Super-Stock race last year...REAL good experience...ALL around...a lil' surprised Rick hasn't promoted this a bit better this year...social media...etc...'course you know it's same weekend as NHRA Division 2 open @ Jackson...really wouldn't "think" INDY would effect car count much...just my 2 cents...:) Drake
