Re: SpeedTalk - Don Terrill - RIP
I met Don when he was still in high school and actually met him thru mutual friends and a street race here in St. Joseph, Mi. area. He and another friend he went to school with, Brian Berk, ran the ex-Don Holben '76 Olds wagon for a while and then turned Brian's Olds Cutlass into a V/SA Stocker with a 231 V-6. They wound up qualifying #1 at the US Nats in the late '80's or early 90's. Don later took a job working for Felix Sabotes in NASCAR before starting the web site, Speed Talk. Will surely be missed.

Thanks for posting this.
I have learned a great deal from searching articles and posts on his website. I have always liked the sites low-frills high content style. A great loss indeed. |
