Racers Driving Thru B'ham, Ala.
 

Beginning early 2019, possibly January, the I-59/I-20 bridge in downtown Birmingham will be CLOSED to traffic, FOR AT LEAST 1YR. This is basically at the I-65 / I-59 Interchange. Anyone towing thru town headed east/west using this section will have to use an alternate route, meaning big detour. Coming from Atlanta, east Tennessee, will be a problem going thru the "Magic City". Same goes for other direction coming from Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and points west. North / south on I-65 will not be affected.
Just a heads up for any one doing pre-season travel thru central Ala.
