Re: SS/AM Cubic inch

I've never seen a maximum cubic inch in the rule book. The limit on cubic inch would probably be dictated by the maximum weight of the SFI chassis certification. I want to say the largest cubic inch I've seen used is 450 or so cubic inches. The reason for the smaller cubic inch engines is because most people want to be as close to the minimum weight as possible and also because most SS/AM cars are SB's as well.

So it would be ci x 7.50 lbs and at 440 ci I would have to weigh 3,300 lbs or would I still have to add weight ?
Thanks for the reply’s

Re: SS/AM Cubic inch

Your weight would be 3300 lbs if you are running a stick. Deduct 5% if you run an automatic which would make it 3135.
