DYA at Rockingham
 

We will be hosting another group of kids at the IHRA Finals during qualifying on Friday. Please feel free to come by the stands and visit.

Can you tell me more about DYA?

We have little kids come by our car from time to time, we get a bigger kick out of it than they do sometimes - we give them the VIP treatment and let them set in the car and "suit up", even take their pictures if they want. Would be glad to spoil your kids like this too!

Angela, Daren is part of a group of racers that not only take handicapped youngsters to the races but is one of DYA's biggest supporters. Daren and his whole family are real special folks. Our web site is at www.dyainc.org/ It needs some updating but you will see some of what we do. Regards

I have been doing great. Business has been getting in the way of racing lately. Something that I am working on changing for next year! I have something very cool planned (DYA related). As far as the kids go, I would have to say that I get more out of it than I put in.

Looks like we will have our biggest group yet. Right now we are planning for 48 disabled kids and 18 teachers!

Update. It Has Rained Again!
 

The rain in the morning caused the school to cancel. But we will be working again with them soon.

I did bring some of the youth from my church which was a lot of fun, so it was still a great day.

DYA will continue be active in IHRA Division 9 next year. I will post up some of the exciting things that we have planned soon.
