Mother Nature got over her Temper Tantrum and the staff at Thunder Valley Dragways has every thing cleaned up and ready to race. MCR Make A Wish is back on for this Sat (sept21-22) So don't miss out on your piece of the $28000 purse - 2 races 1 tow - entrée only $110 per day ( $10 of every entrée goes to Make A Wish) - Last Chance Shootout (sunday afternoon). This race is MCR premiere race of the year helping children with extreme medical problems achieve there dream wish.

There are some localized highway closures due to flooding. Here's a link to safetravelusa for South Dakota to check on your route. After you click on the link, scroll your mouse thumb wheel to maximize the size and drag the image using the left mouse button to center it.

Also, it's important to note that the flooded staging lanes did not come from the creek that runs through the track. Rather, it came across the road on the East side of the track. The race track itself received minimal rainfall and the pits are solid and dry.

Another feature for racers is the Last Chance Shootout Sunday...all 1st round 'runner ups' can enter for no entry fee!

Elims are 'shootout' style and the payout is:
-$1,000 win
-$500 r/u
-$250 semis
