Indy Fall Open results
 

Other than the fine reporting done by Larry/Patsy Hill I must conclude that the Div 3 office has instituted a total news blackout for this weekends Fall Open----Supposedly this meet was to be conducted from the 12th-15th of Oct----There has been absolutrly no results posted on ANY site that I can find... So maybe we all should call the Div 3 office on Mon AM to get the results---Damn inconsiderate if you ask me----I do not need a round by round report but a few hilites would have been nice---Any comments out there???? Dick,

I think you've gotten spoiled by Dragracecentral.com. They are the people who bring us the results from points races, not the divisional people. I hope the lack of info from the open makes you appreicate their work even more.

I certainly do appreciate them heel if you look at the NHRA site they even tell you DRC did the reporting---Just seems to me that an event of this magnitude would be reported even if only the final rounds---How about the Dutch or Atco races seems like they do a good job of reporting why can't Div 3 ????? They are always behind the 8 ball compared to things that happen in the other divisions----Maybe I'm just mad that I had to work this weekend and could not get there---Comp 387

Actually, the results of the D1 opens were only reported on the D1 website on the Monday after teh open. All other info was posted by individual racers, just like Larry and his wife did!

After thinking about this all nite I stil cannot understand why no results from the Div 3 Fall Open this AM---Hey this track is not in a cabbage patch---This track is INDY where they hold the US Nationals--Ever seen the place??? They have a 10-15000 sq ft tower and it has PRESS ROOMS--- Yep they do have press rooms here----So why not "appoint" a designated person to take all the computer print out sheets and take 30-45 seconds from their busy day everyday and FAX those same sheets to DRC and let them post them--- Somebody managed to get the points meet at Noble on the web so DRC was working this weekend----Not sure if DRC has people just waiting around for results to come flowing in but at least they would have them and be able to get them on the web in a timely manner---Still totally inexcusable that after 3-4 days of competition not one single word about any category or records etc. from Indy----IMOO----2cents worth--- I will now get down off my soapbox---Congratulations to all who won this weekend ---We will never find out unless by word of mouth at least not from Div 3--Comp387

FED387......get you a laptop...or two and put the reporting program in them. Then volunteer to sit in the press room and do the on the spot reporting !! Simple solution.......:-)

Mr. Kelly your sarcasm is just a smart *** comment... What I was getting at was over 2/4 days of racing NADA-ZIP-ZERO reports on the Fall Open... Don't ya think they coulda snuck just one out???? I think so and I'm not buying a laptop to go sit there---If my job had not prevented me from being there I would have been there----Comp 387
