As we learned several years ago, a lifetime suspension is two or three years.

They only received a two-year suspension...

The information is online, read into it. There's more to what actually happened than the hearsay that gets regurgitated on every web forum/social media platform.

Eckman had to pay a fine before he could be reinstated, and I'm not sure he ever did.

There was some talk about Eckman running a pro stock car at Indy several years ago. someone was putting him in a car for that race I think it might have been Roger Brogdon. Don't know if that ever happened.

This sort of morphed into a discussion about Pro Stock. Are you talking about sportsman racers as there have been several over the years. As stated above, I'm betting that a lot of them have been reinstated but supposedly were 'lifetime'. Also seems like some of them might have been offered a 'go away and don't come back' offer as opposed to a public shaming. I doubt anyone is willing to publicly name names though.
