Slow averages question
In my case, with a 175/275 HP 78 Camaro stick combo natural "I", does it mater
what class I would run(H,I orJ) to get a slow average recorded? What I mean is; If I run .500, .600 or whatever under, will it mater the class I do it in? Will it still "count" toward the NHRA HP rating for my combo, if adjusted? Terry K |
Re: Slow averages question
The screenings will look for an overall engine family average, or class/engine average less than 0.549-seconds under. If both averages are found to be slower than 0.549-second under, a change will be initiated. Runs of 0.100-second under and slower are not included in calculating the engine average:

Re: Slow averages question
however, note the change this year:
"Once an engine family receives a horsepower increase it is not eligible for a decrease." |
