Norwalk officially CLOSED for 2020 season.

It’s official, ....Wonder what makes a guy close the track when weeks ago he released a video stating he was going to open come hell or high water....This Covid 19 has been rough on everyone. I really feel bad for the local racers, and there are a lot of them...

That's my home track, I'm 26 miles away. That pretty much drove a nail in my race season. 42 is closer but Norwalk is 1000 times better on a marginal day than 42, sorry. I figured something bad was coming when he cancelled night under fire last week. The points meet, the national event and the NUF are his marquee events. Sad to see but Bader will persevere!

We live halfway between Norwalk and Dragway 42. I had my best 60' times at 42 - quite a bit better then at Norwalk the following weekend. The facility is nice and the Machum family treat the racers great. Norwalk may be a "showplace" and we love it there, but if you just want to race Dragway 42 is awesome.
