Bandimere Court Battle
 

If you have missed it Bandimere speedway is in the middle of a court battle right now over this covid madness. Jefferson county has a restraining order with a bunch of impossible demands put on the track. At issue was Bandimere going ahead with there big 4th of july race which exceeded the county imposed limit of 175 people.
John Bandimere has stated he would have to close if he adhered to there pages of restrictions. One county representative seamed ok with them closing according to her argument.
Thank god someone is finally standing up to these tyrants drunk on power.
I stand with John Bandimere.

Jim Let all know if John Needs any support in any way we all need to stand up . We the People gave the Government and politicians a inch and now they want total control of our .Lives

Coles County sued their county and 2 other agencies and won. Then they worked with the agencies to open in a safe and sane manner, and helped other businesses to reopen. It can be done.

With a National Event scheduled in less than a month they better negotiate something pretty quick.

I would sure hope NHRA would step in with some kind of support with this matter if they plan to stop this madness .
Regardless if track owners make decisions to do this how could they possibly not think the owners do this as a business decision to keep the doors open .

Looks like the judge will release how she will rule on the battle on July 21 at 9 AM mountain time.
That ruling will probably tell us whether the National Event will be held.
If Denver falls off the list like Seattle it makes me wonder about the following event of Brainerd and so on.
We can only hope for the best to get back racing.

We had the distinct pleasure of chatting with John Bandimere for
quite a while at the Divisional last month.

A true class act and plus a very down to Earth gentleman!
Plus a man very strong in his Faith and Walk.
