Div. 7 tracks?

on the Div 7 schedule, there are races listed as 'regional'. what does that mean?
Sonoma is up by San Francisco, somewhere, right?

Regional races also include the Top Alcohol cars.

Sonoma Raceway is about 30 miles north of San Francisco, and about 637 miles NW of Kingman AZ.

ps. Google Street View of Sonoma Raceway is cool. You can make virtual passes on the drag strip and the road course.
