NHRA Stock Car Qualification Has the 378 SC @ 700 HP as SS only and the 392 @ 450 HP in Stock and SS ( auto only )...as of today anyway.

The Big Question of the day will they build 50 vehicles to meet the minimum build requirements? Don’t believe they have met the minimum in earlier years.

Rated at that much horsepower it could only be legal in Superstock and meet the SFI25.5 cage specification based on the weight breaks. SFI25.5 7.5 second cage has a maximum permitted weight of 3,600LBS, in FS/AA the current weight break is 5.5 so once any combination is rated over 623hp the car would have to weight over 3,600LBS to compete in stock, but then it wouldn't meet it's cage requirements. It's the same reason the 630hp version of the supercharged 350 COPO's is only legal in superstock while the 600hp version can run in stock.

Sounds to me like he has quit running NHRA along with a lot of the other Fords. They decided to get out of the kitchen.

Hopefully I am wrong and they will show up on the Indy entry list soon.

As far as the 2021 Drag Packs I just hope they really build them!

Chris, Bill and Drew Skillman ran the second Indy National Event on July 18 and 19. I am quite sure they all will be at Indy; if for no other reason than the finals at the second Indy Event were rained out and will be run at Indy. The Factory Stock final is Chris Holbrook vs Bill Skillman. Also, Kevin Skinner is already on the Indy entry list.

I doubt you will see the Holbrook, and Skillman teams @ the US Nationals , both have said they are done with NHRA, and the constant "parity" adjustments.
