Good Morning!!

We are not there yet, but there is a line waiting to get in. According to the schedule, the gates open at noon. We may get a little rain over the weekend, but it wouldn't be Bowling Green without a little rain! I will post more after we get there and anyone who is there, feel free to jump in!

At 11 30 am this morning Dallas Jones and co. welcomed us into beautiful Beech Bend Raceway Park. Although the hurricane may have its say about the weather forecast, at 3 pm it was 88 degrees, 60 percent humidity and 29.51 barometer, and 118.5 water grains. A correction factor of 1..0709....3210 feet adjusted altitude...As rigs were filing in the skies opened up later in the afternoon. Tomorrow the track is scheduled to hold a T and T, weather permitting of course. I believe through the next few days the 2020 edition of the BG points meet will be anything but NORMAL......

It is already hot and humid this morning. Test and tune is moved up to 11 am. Should be starting soon. Forecast for today is good but looks like remnants of Laura will be coming thru tomorrow .

The T and T was completed without any interruptions from MOTHER NATURE. Just a few minutes ago at 5 30 pm my weather station showed 90 degrees, 62 percent humidity, 29.42 baro, correction factor of 1.0771. The adjusted altitude was 3434 feet. ...129 water grains... WOW....just another lovely August day in Bowling Green, Ky. The track remained good for the entire T and T as Brock and crew would rosin and dress the track as needed? There were FOUR V/SA cars participating in the T and T........1 AMC and 3 Chevy s......Unfortunately, tomorrows forecast contains the remnants of hurricane Laura .....time will tell if we see the track or not.....

We start out in the morning at 8 with super street, then stock. Maybe everyone will get at least one run before the rain hits!!
