“Live” from DIv 6 Yellowstone Double
 

Record turnout of cars for the track. Over 300 and counting. Many racers on the way to Indy. The track and racing surface are very good. BIG wind from the north after qualifying started. The track ran a test session from 10:00 - 1:00. 36 stocker ran 1st rd and 23 super stocks. Supposed to get 3 qualifiers today and 1 before 1st round tomorrow. More to follow.

Cool sunny morning today. No rain in today’s forecast. Supposed to get two qualifiers then into eliminations.

The DA Yesterday at Acton was 7004! Per Brian Seaburg. (I'm not there).
There's more Div 5 cars than Div 6 cars in Stock. 39 total.
Those Div 5 guys know how to run in those conditions! First 4-5 cars are Div 5.

They just announced that because of a not so good weather forecast for Sunday, the Saturday/Sunday race will be all run tomorrow. One time run and eliminations begin. That will allow all the Indy racers another travel day.
