Are racing radio’s legal in stock eliminator where driver can communicate with crew member. Just curious and bored. Lol.

They are legal for sportsman ie, stock,super/stock, supercomp,( I ask again before I posted this),and superstreet I've been using them for several years, their very helpful when you forget to turn on the power and your all ready strapped in or can't remember if the air bottle is on ( in super/stock), or car problems at the end of the track and need a tow back and the obvious when your old and can't see if your dial in is correct before you stage .

My understanding is they are legal to use BUT you can not communicate with the driver during a run.

I was answering the original posters question about the use of radios in sportsman racing, Then it went off track, I truly believe ANYTHING can be misused ie, money, medicine, guns cars and radios, add your own item.
One of the reasons i like drag racing is its a individual sport, like golf, pool,bowling, sporting clays, practice tree tournaments my preference is to win or lose on my own ability. If someone thinks they need help to drive their car good luck.

Sure has. Not exactly sporty, sometimes it might even help those with the huge crews and employees with nothing to do at the race.......

Comp has had down track SPOTTERS for years , radios took it to a new level...
