Re: Vintage enclosed trailers
Hey Glenn I just purchased a new Vitage Outlaw 28ft tag enclosed from Smith Trailer sales and
I am very satisfied with the product for the money. Yeh they dont have the track side support of Pace but I have some good Intell telling me Pace is closing stores as fast as they opened due to poor factory support and repairs so i dont know how long the Track side stuff will last. Anyways I did compare mine to the Halmark also and found Vintage is made of all steel frame on 16inch centers and Halmark is built of a wrapped wood center style frame. If strength matters to you like it did to me thats one thing to consider. I did go through the underside of the trailer and made some changes to the electrical and found that the D rings were threw a metal plate and had a self tapping bolt only holding them in so I just added a washer and nut for GP's to all the D rings. The Resale really matters on how well you take care of your stuff in my book, I did alot of looking before I bought this trailer and if you notice used prices for trailers are really high for what you can get new nowadays so I dont think resale should be a issue. |

Re: Vintage enclosed trailers
My wife sells Vintage Trailers. Several racers have purchased from her they all seem to be very happy with the service and the product. You can check with Dennis Ridgeway , Bert Morgan , Don O'Malley , and Jimmy Bridges to see what they think of Vintage. Our number is (615) 834-9887. Hope to hear from you
