enclosed trailer side door frame
On a recent trip to the nationals at New England dragway , I ran into some very rough highways coming from N.C. Lost two tires on motorhome and did damage to trailer side door. The framing broke in several sections, top of hinge broke. The trailer company will not warranty the damage. So I am looking for frame parts to repair myself. So far can't find. Any suggestions

Try taking a look at :
etrailer.com they have a huge inventory of parts and they maybe able to make some suggestions |
Re: enclosed trailer side door frame
Maybe you just don't want to deal with them but I am surprised the trailer manufacture cannot sell you the parts or at least let you know where you can buy them.
I am always surprised how much trailer stuff Amazon sells. |
Re: enclosed trailer side door frame
Sometimes you can call the manufacturer parts department and hope for a helpful customer focused person (you know, the Chic-fil-A type) to pick up the phone. Tore up the fender skirts on my Pace several years ago (yea, sometimes you have to learn the hard way about Goodyear Marathon tires). The lady looked for a long time and called me back that she had found one for me and shipped it out the same day. In any case they are bound to have the frames pre fabricated and in their inventory.

Re: enclosed trailer side door frame
Mark, thanks for reply. I did contact them and they sent me two hinge pieces they said should work. When I got them found they won't work on side door, but they are still looking. As for talking with manufacturing company, they were not interested in helping. they said they buy doors all assembled and don't carry frame parts. The company is Anvil. I was a little surprised at their response.
