Derek Hake passes ….
 

Sadly, D 4 stock eliminator racer Derek Hake passed away early this morning. The last few years Derek drove the Roadrunner owned by Jim Lewis. Jim wants to thank everyone, the entire CLASS RACER community for the prayers, calls and concerns for his buddy Derek ……GODSPEED ……

So sad. We both raced H/SA and I/SA in Division 4 and had many heads up races. He beat me every time. He was a great competitor and will be missed.

R.I.P. Derek. Everyone please keep his family close to you. This is going to be a very difficult Holiday Season for them. Thanksgiving and Christmas both big family get together events.

I am very sorry to hear this. He helped me a lot when I first bought my Camaro. I don’t believe I talked to him since May of this year. Had he been sick?
