Old New Mieshaft Rule
If the -.95 new Mineshaft rule had been in effect still then Pomona would NOT have gone mineshaft. Wonder how many would have proceeded to run better than -1.00 would have held back had the old new rule stayed in effect?

Re: Old New Mieshaft Rule
Lets just do away with mineshaft period....
This will allow a little more room to run your stuff out...while also appeasing those in favor of the AHFS. |
Re: Old New Mieshaft Rule
Is the end of year average still 85 under for HP consideration?

Re: Old New Mieshaft Rule
I just appreciate the bottom half of the field stepping up and making it mineshaft. I am on my 3rd set of exhaust valves in as many passes and was not needing any more weight put in my car because it is already slow. And when you have the 2 fastest in the country with my combo over there and one of them trying to sell his and prove how fast it is, I wasn't happy...at all.

May want to check P/V clearance at split overlap or improve angle of piston to valve.

Re: Old New Mieshaft Rule
As I type this there has been 2 runs that are not considered mineshaft from the Div 2 race.
There are 19 runs of one second under that are mineshaft runs. How is the AHFS suppose to work when this many runs get excluded? This is only with the first round of the winternational,2nd round should have some more runs of one second under. There is a AA/SA heads up run coming this morning also. |

With the mineshaft rule at .950, I doubt you would see many fast runs at all. |
