Helmet date?
 
my helmet is dated 2010. in Dec. 2021, the tech man told me it would be out of date on Dec. 31 2021. [I didnt realize it was so old already.] anyway, was he being gentle, allowing me to race that last race of the year? or when does the helmet actually go out of date?
sportsman bracket class.

It’s out dated. 01/01/2022 all the 2010 helmets are not legal. Needs to be 2015 or newer.

Yep they may be confiscated at Nhra events. Lots of helmet and belts being sold at Atco a few weeks ago!

e-town speedshop was able to date belts at time of purchase, does atco do that??

I think most belts are ahead of date anyhow
