Broc,
Please inform us racers how the bye runs will be awarded. Will it be NHRA style furthest under index during qualifying if an odd number of qualifiers based on the sportsman ladder. If the decision is to do it a different way please let us know beforehand before any cars go down the track, that way everyone knows the rules and we have no surprises. If not done the NHRA way, why have qualifying?

Just so there is no confusion

The race pays 7500 to win
(5000 from bg and 2500 from Coffman construction)

Larry, I think that is an unfair question based on an isolated incident at the NHRA Sportsnational Open.

This is a SS/S Combo race that is part of the Bowling Green combo series they do for us each year. We have always been laddered after two qualifying runs with the bye run going to the #1 qualifier. You have ran several of these races and are fully aware of the race format.

Thanks to Broc Porter, the Bowling Green staff, Lost River Pizza and Coffman Construction for putting on this race!

I hope we can make it. It was always fun to race Danny Coffman!

I was just trying to avoid another isolated incident.

Beach Bend is the best place to race in the United States!

Larry,

Sorry for the delay.

This race will be ran as the same format we use during all of our SS/S Points races. 2 Qualifiers based on index (how far under) then laddered for first round and throughout the remainder of the race.

Hope this clears it up!

Thanks!

After this race can trailers be left there for the divisional? If not when do gates open for the divisional? Assuming on Tuesday since the Joliet race will run to conclusion on Wednesday?

According to face book-division 3 posted running Joliet race on Thursday, with gates opening Wednesday at 4pm. Beech Bend has a stacking area, that you can leave trailer till points meet. Hope this help you a little bit, see you there.
