Re: After a heads up run
Interesting question your friend has there Mr Herb jr !!! Bubski also thought it was intriguing and phoned a friend !! Apparently there are fuel additives that the masking agents used to dupe the fuel check will break down rather quickly and may be an issue later on in the day !! Bubski just wondering why they don't put the "fuel check fuel" in the fake radiator overflow like they do in D7 and pull up about a 100 feet away from the scales so a few semis can get weighed and get your fresh sample for tech !! Its good to see someone paying attention !! Cheers !!!

Re: After a heads up run
See it is possible to learn something new every day even at 65 yrs old. I'll try not to be first every time down the track to verify here in D7 we cheat on fuel.
As far as changing fuel. I'm too lazy and run C-11 all the time but some run the less expensive till the time to get a little extra is needed. Possibly in the third person mode your invisible too. Paul Haszlauer |

Us racers police ourselves pretty hard. You can bet you Bubski ash any racer involved in a heads up would call out a competitor that stopped to dump fuel or switch lines. Second tech officials for the uneducated do peak under the hood when giving the sample. Not always but more often than you might think. Plus there has not been a competitor caught doing something like this in decades if ever. |
Re: After a heads up run
More than likely it was C25, also the secret sauce that makes there cars go faster is a mix of time, effort, and money. Congratulations to both racers for having bad *** cars and were not afraid to turn them loose. Truly this is what class racing is all about. Tom
