Re: Ron Goodell
Ron was a very good fabricator and race car builder, he did work for me on several occasions and his work was top notch.
I know of the car in question and it was built in 1983 ? one of the first GT cars, he also built several other fast GT style cars for Lloyd Bray, myself and others. Unless your car has been modified from original set up it should be a good piece. Call Alan and ask him, know hes a busy guy but knows the car. R J |
Re: Ron Goodell
I owned a 67 Camaro back half super stock legal car for several years built by Ron Goodell. It was built strong, made thousands of passes running 2 classes and never tweaked anything. Best racecar I ever owned. Sold it to a young man in Selma NC it races at Galot regularly now.

I think that is the car that was voted as Best Engineered at the US Nationals. There was a magazine article about the car. I may have some pictures I could dig up and email you. My dad was killed in a car wreck. He was thrown from a 55 chevy that he had been working on, about 1/4 mile from our house. Jeff |
