RIP Sherwood Allen
The racing world lost a wonderful person last night, Sherwood Allen passed away peacefully at his home. Sherwood aka "The Soul Survivor" began racing on the streets of his hometown in Chester, PA and then on the legendary strips in the northeast. His driving allowed him to win Super Stock Eliminator at Cecil County, Atco, and Columbus. Sherwood's notable career earned him the honor of being named to the 2015 East Coast Drag Time Hall of Fame.
Please keep the Allen family in your prayers. No arrangement have been made at this time. Simmons Family Racing |
