Front Shock Question
Hi Guys, I'm A New Member And Not Very Good With Computers.....so Hope This Goes. Have A Stick Shift 69 Camaro That I Just Put Qa-1 Shocks On. They Are 12 Way Adjustable On Extension/ Compression Fixed. If I Install Double Adjustable On Front, How Would It Help Control Wheel Stand.....or Wouldn't It? Already Have Double On Rear. Been Around Racing All My Life....but Will Be First Year Racing, And Trying To Set Car Up Right From The Get Go....thank You For Any In Put.....

Re: Front Shock Question
To control wheelstand, you would stiffen up on the extension, making the front end harder to rise. Usually on the single adjustable shocks, when you make an adustment on extension it normally will affect the compression. I think it's more critical to have double adjustable on the rear than on the front.
Hope this helps. |
Re: Front Shock Question
I gotta question on this subject as well. I drive a 92 olds cierrain SS with strange struts on the front non adjustable. if we go to a dbl adjustable can we get rid of the terrible radial wabble on the big end of the track? Is this the problem or am i all wet on this??
