Ford 302 pistons for stocker

What is everyone using for pistons in an 87-93 Mustang stocker?

If you have any part#'s it would be very helpful.

I can't find any information on the replacements listed below as accepted replacements:

CP Pistons F5-CP
JE 141602 Optional 1/16, 1/16, 3/16
Lunati 302
Ross 99595
Sterling H606P
Venolia 302 5.0

Are those not the part numbers that NHRA
lists.

Have you talked to any of the Companys that
supply them?

Thanks for the reply John...

Those part#'s were "copied and pasted" from the NHRA accepted replacement list. I have been able to find the CP and JE pistons listed in their current catalogs. Unfortunately, with my current workload at the office, I have not been able to reach out to them via phone and have tried via email with no success.

My inquiries to CP and JE were in regard to cost and availability...

It appears Venolia is no longer in business. There are no listings for pistons in the current Lunati catalog. There is no listing for part# 99565 in the current Ross catalog.

I assume no one is using the hypereutectic replacement pistons in a stocker...

We have used CP in the past. Call Blair Patrick Enterprises. He is a CP dealer and can get you the right ones.

First off I am no expert

CP pistons are the best get hold of Ricky Pennington not sure if last name is spelled correct. They are expensive.

Sterling bought TRW speed pro, H606P are a hypereutectic, I got them NHRA approved years ago along with the Eagle rods, long funny story about the process. these are afforable at the time I was buying them for a $100 a set when i first started in stock. Google them some still should be around for a good price. I was able to go 1 second under with them and a stock computer in good weather. I set my first national record with them. They are still in my backup motor that gets used occasionally still runs fast.

Thumbs up on the CP's. "buy once, cry once"

Note: H606P are pressed pin only!
All other are full floating
