Wondering if the 2000-01 Ford 232 V6 would be viable in stock eliminator



Factory rate 190 hp NHRA rated 170 . Would run Q, R, T weight 3080


IN A MUSTANG.. any feedback from you engine tech kinda guys would be appreciated as in may work or save your carfare....


or would I be playing in the land of the GIANTS with all those V8's

No. Absolutely not!
The only good FFFFFord is a 96 Escort for EF/S.

Considering the carbed 2 barrel 302 V8 has 70 more cubes, and is rated at 30 less HP, no brainer which low budget Ford I would build!

When I started spending on the mustang the wife asked "why don't you just buy that and race it, it would be cheaper".....she's not wrong...

If I had a young racer going from JR's up I would be all over that car.
You could be killer in local NE/foot brake classes and run NHRA meet's too.
Safe car for training the next world champ.
And it is cheap with plenty of parts available.
Wonder what it would do as a Land Speed racer on dry lakes and Boneville? Humm
