Does anyone know if Greg's operation was aquired and one can purchase rings again? Need a top ring for a .080 over 305 CP1 piston.

Yes, all of Gregs tooling was bought. A while ago I talked to the purchaser about buying the tooling & most of all Greg's notes... I think he will be using it for his own shop and will not open for the public. You never know things might change in the future.
