Our first video out of D2 Orlando
I sent my video and edit guy down to Orlando with Steve Magnante. My guys had never filmed a race like this before and thought it would be a good learning experience for later in the year. I've been working with Steve the past 2 months filming content at various auctions. He's slowly getting back into things after the medical events of last year. I just offer him opportunities and he's free to take whatever he wants. We're going to do a longer format video, around an hour, that should post next week. I wanted to get one quick one out.
I wanted my guys to learn how to interact with sportsman racers and the difference in a test day, qualifying day and elimination day. No better way than just throw them into the fire. The feedback I got was that everyone was really nice and patient, which I appreciate it. You'll see us at events later this year trying to do more coverage. The quick lesson was needing more film people, which we'll have. I wanted the nephews to be covered and that made it difficult as they were running SC and SG. Had the video guy running all over the place. All of that to say it's a learning process and I'm happy with a first effort. Will post an update once our longer format video gets finished up. Hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9Ao...7T3V2zJ4AaABAg |

Re: Our first video out of D2 Orlando
While Steve?s sweet spot is his wealth of knowledge about so many older models he?s obviously adept at interviewing a racer?liked the lead in showing Joe Costello?s new entry, he did great in his first race. And what class racer doesn?t love the throwback to modified eliminator aka the Flintstone. I always watch that car run. Great first video!
