Gents ,
Im a model builder of vintage drag cars. Mostly SS and vintage funnycars. BUT, Im in process of building what I believe is / was the Sox and Martin 1967 GTX and am of the belief THIS car shown was a photo op / clinic show pony only. I can find all kinds of pictures of the 67 body cars , on most it appears to be most likely an RO car, Which would be a hemi car Its MY belief there were a total of 4 of said cars. A 440 4spd for SS/E which in all the photos I can find it had fender well headers . This particular car was white interior 2 cars for SS / B or SS/D aka Hemi cars And this car,,, which I've yet to find ANY photos of it with any class designation lettering or signs it had headers on it . ALSO with white interior Its MY belief this particular car was a 440 4spd car So if anyone was around back then able to maybe confirm my theory . Please chime in , Im all ears |

John Molnar remembers racing his Olds against the Sox & Martin SS/E at the Spring Nationals in 1967.
