Indy parking
 

Was the parking at the Indy race this weekend like it has always been? Any idea if the parking switch they showed on their plans last year will be in effect at the US Nationals?

Everything is the same. Hopefully the new tower will be completed by then as it does look really nice. I love IRP but it definitely needs to be updated.

Mike , as Ryan said they are in the process of completing the new Tower…..it looks great. The NEW main entrance AND parking switch is still years down the road …..

I talked to a few of the tower construction people and they said it will be done for the big go. The talk was that after the fall classic( 3rd week in October ) the west side will get torn up for the new drainage system that will go right down the middle of the existing pit area and the repair shop building as they call it will come down. They have already torn down some of the unused buildings, houses, barns on the west side making for more pit space there than there has ever been. The east side pit, which is now the pro pit, is in real need of a repaving job. Pot holes every where. It resembles an Illinois road system. .LOL
