I was talking with Martha in the tower after qualifying on Saturday. Martha said she was struggling with her car. Very nice return from struggle to a win. Nice job Martha. Many more to come, I am sure.

Added - - I just checked the results from the 1st race of the double header. Martha lost 1st round, like I said nice recovery.

I wanted it badly to be a 1st time Event Champ Martha, and I did not get it done against Bad Brad Burton who is having a phenomenal year, so I was elated that you and Jody got the deed done!

That ladder was short on car count. But it was loaded with bears with a lot of titles, and event wins, both recent and
career wise as long as your arm...and you still claimed your 1'st! Congrats Mrs. Lang 🎊!

If it could not be me...and it wasn't, I was elated it was you who slayed all those dragons on Saturday/Sunday.

(No disrespect meant to any of those bears, it was an honor to race with all those highly experienced players, as it makes us someday first timers get up on the wheel a bit more in the hope that it is our day).

Martha, enjoy that 1, then go get another!
