How can one forget, if you do not know?

Some people did something.

It is up to each and everyone of us to teach future generations about Sep11. Otherwise the future generations who have no knowledge of Sept 11 will not forget?because they will not have had no knowledge to forget.

Those that don?t study history are bound to repeat it.

IMO there are two things every American should be required to do.

1. Once in there life visit the beaches of Normandy. The French after being liberated asked the USGoverment if the US wanted to keep the beaches of Normandy as a closed memorial site. A survey of surviving members of fallen soldiers showed the overwhelming majority wanted the beaches open for everyone to use, as the US came not as a conqueror, but as a liberator.

2. Every man woman and school aged child should be required to watch the raw un-edited video from Sep 11. How can someone not be moved when you see people not falling out of the towers?but jumping?making the choice.

There is evil in this world?it must not?and cannot win.

Last night (Sep11) flew from Boston to Dallas. It was ?clear in a million?. Not a clod in sight from Boston to Dallas. Then there it was between Nashville and Memphis a single cloud towering over 50,000 ft. Straight up. It was an amazing thunderstorm. All lit up from the lightening. The wonder of God. He is real.

Then I got to thinking. About Peter walking on water and when he took his eyes off of Jesus he started sinking (O ye of little faith). Most know I am a pilot. What most do not know is I have a fear of heights. As long as I have positive ?g? I am fine (doing acrobatics twisting turning and being up side down?I can look straight down and have no problem. However, if I was flying straight and level with a glass panel under the seat I would not look down as I would be terrified. But in an instant if I look at the artificial horizon In the airplane, or just look forward or to the side at the horizon I am perfectly fine. Then I had a major revelation, and understood the implications of Peter walking on water and keeping his eyes on Jesus. Faith the size of a mustard seed.

Yes I believed in God, yes I am a Christian, and yes I am a sinner. I have been flying for 42 years and last night God became REAL to me!

Sorry Jim, but WE already have….I will not talk POLITICS on here BUT the Barbarians are already on our soil and some are elected officials ….It all started when “some people did something” ….

Think it comes down to each individual?s world view. If we believe that truth is objective (re: absolute) and that we each are indeed created in God?s image and have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness then all is not lost. If the vast majority believe that truth is subjective then we are destined for mob rule or tyranny. Hopefully the terrible events of September 10 will add clarity to what our collective world view is.

God?s covenant with the Jewish people didn?t shield them from evil, particularly when they strayed from his teachings. But through all of their trials from the Babylonian exile through to the current they have relied on God?s promises. Those promises have been extended to us as well, especially at the individual level but also at a national level. Lincoln summed it up best by asking are we as a nation worthy of those promises. A positive world view is what we must model and teach the next generations. That is, after all Charlie’s legacy.

I've seen it...
But the last week has really showcased the evil in some peoples hearts...
I find it astonishing...
