Ron Mandella's '63 Belvedere wagon was one of three or four factory-built 426 wagons. It came with a Stage I, 415 HP, cross ram wedge. Ron ran the car at Indy in 1963 and 1964, winning class in 1964. It held both the NHRA and Drag News class record at the time. Wagons in Stock were not a common sight in Stock when he bought the car new in the spring of 1963. Ron's brother, Phil, and nephew, Tony, are a presence in Stock and Super Stock up to the present day.
