I try to give everyone a fair shake and not judge then by their "culture". So let me get your's and Julie's thought process correct using myself as an example; I have a friend who has several Confederate Flag's on his vehicle and tow vehicle, should I as an African American be uncomfortable around him because of this? this is basically what you said that because of the way people in the mid east treat their women she shouldn't be comfortable. If I missed something let me know.

You have nothing to fear of some flag. You can walk down the streets of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and the odds of you being accosted by some old klanner animal, like Lawrence Rainey, would be zero.
Now, on the other hand, as we speak, sharia law is quite active in the Middle East, even Qatar. Please tell me I don’t have to explain sharia law to you.
Racist? That word means absolutely nothing anymore. It’s been so overused and misused. Now, if you wish to call me a “culturalist”, I’ll plead guilty. There are some cultures that are downright loathsome.
