Your memory is deceiving you... Hitler had a lot to do with creating the Volkswagen and German race cars kicked everybody back then.
As for Pearl Harbor that was as much the US governments doing as the Japanese.

I never suggested that Scott had a swastika tattoo or bombed Pearl Harbor (I don't know what you're eating/drinking, but I don't want any..lol), however the corporate leaders of the company that created the car he's racing probably did (at least the Pearl Harbor part). You're being a bit harsh calling his car a "riceburner", and I applaud it for running a nine-second pass, however I'm looking forward to seeing how it fares out running against any of the perrenial top-20 Super Stock racers when the car is going to have to be as consistent as Scotts rt's are good in order to beat the Fletchers, Biondo's, Langs, DeFranks, et.al.....
Perhaps Hitler had a lot to do with Volkswagen, but as far as that German race cars kicking everybody back then....maybe on European soil, but I bet Victor Edelbrock Sr., (amongst others), had something to say about that over here in American soil???
As for Pearl Harbor, the Japanese didn't have to do their cowardly deed, and I hope reality was like the movie with Ben Afleck, and Cuba Gooding Jr. where a warship gunner, and an American fighter pilot were able to gun down some of those bastards that attacked Pearl Harbor!!!
