The CJ does not use a cogged blower drive, so there are no teeth to speak. Have fun counting those teeth! This goes for the drive pulley, or the driven pulley as the blower is driven by a serpentine belt with a sprung tensioner.
Furthermore, the rulebook states "aftermarket pulleys permitted." It currently says nothing about pulleys used to drive blowers, nor does it state anything on NHRA.com. Where do you people get this information from? Please, I know many of you are bothered by the CJ, but if you are going to come on here and post, at least properly inform yourself in order to sound intelligent about the topic and list facts backed up with a legitimate source. Only then will you be taken seriously.
And who is "loading them down with weight." Simple physics, a lighter object can be accelerated quicker than a heavier one.

No Evan, your wrong. They're fords, therefore they defy the laws of physic's and logic, they are evil, EVIL I TELL YOU! They have special cogged serpentine belts which add hp! I heard they put a cj engine in a dumptruck to "load it down" and it went 9 flat!!
THEY"RE EVIL!
EVIL I TELL YOU!!!!
THE VIN NUMBERS ALL START WITH V FOR VOODOO!!!
MUHAHAHAHAHA, YOU ALL WILL NOW SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!!!
Seriously, this has been beat to death will logic and constructive input. Now it's just demonizing them.
There is nothing left to add so others will "I heard" or "I think". Again, it's all ford bashing and sour grapes unless the uproar is levelled against the turbo dodges/etc too.
