Received information on ZN content from Lucas Oil Products on their - "Engine Break-In Oil Additive" w/TB Zinc-Plus, as an additive to current conventional oil for drag racing.

o The typical amount of zinc phosphorous in the older oils is somewhere around 1400-1500 ppms:

o If you run a 5 qt system, if you add 1/2 a bottle of the TB Zinc to the 5
qts, it will give you 5,000 to 5,200 ppms of the zinc: and

o Does it hurt to run a full bottle? No, but it is a waste of the product. A half bottle is plenty enough for your 5 quart application.

Questions were for a Stock Eliminator engine running between 5500 and 6500 rpm.
