I would like to start a discussion as to why or why not should the front passenger bucket seat be allowed to be removed.NOBODY SITS THERE ANYWAYS!
While it may take away from the "stock appearance",I think wheelie bars do to.If wheelie bars are required for safety, then why not allow lightweight race seats?
In all honesty,I really think the original rule should have been left alone. You must run your original class,or drop down one.I realize that there is no going back to that, but the seat is allowed to be removed in TOP STOCK,so why not STOCK?
Buy an old London taxi made by Austin. No front passenger seat included at no extra cost.
Or maybe you can convince tech that your 442 came with no dashboard, backseat, rugs, insulation.Pretty silly right?Dont be so thin skinned about being called a class dodger,it's done all the time, sometimes by the elite stock class racers.
