I've been telling the NHRA tech guys for years that they should just give up and make Stock Eliminator into "Stock Appearing Eliminator". If it's got 9" tires and a flat hood then it's stock, put a dial on it and race. No more class designations and no more class runoffs or heads up runs. If the "liberalization" and "ignorance" of the rules doesn't change then let's just do that and get it over with. I'll still be there but I won't like it.
