I spoke with a member of his family this morning and I regret to inform all of Bob's many friends that he passed away last nite.
Any one that knew Bob will miss him dearly, I know I have lost a very good friend, a person that always had a smile on his face, a man who put his family above all else and was a great human being. I consider myself lucky to have had him as a friend.
I know the whole racing community mourns his loss......
News like this is never easy to deal with, but my thoughts are with his family.
You will be missed Bob, rest in peace my friend.
