Default Re: Rev limiter on the brake pedal

I have used a brake light switch plumbed into the rear brake line at the master cylinder.
From there you wire in a NC (Normally Closed) micro switch on the shifter that opens when you shift to second gear. Once the circuit is open your button on the brake pedal should be dead. Basically you want the switch to deactivate (cut power to) the button on the pedal after you shift.
I think some shifter companies are equipped with a micro switch or drilled to accommodate them.
Confused yet? I have that effect on people!
